☆In 2008, the compulsory vehicle scrapping standard will be formally published in China.
☆17th Aug, 2007. 0.66 million vehicles have been produced in July 2007 in China, which represents 31.5% increase over 2006. Among them, passenger vehicle production volume is 0.48 million sets, and commercial vehicle production volume is 0.18 million sets. Total output (YTD in 2007) is 5.1 million sets.
☆20th June, 2007, China will eliminate or cut tax rebates for more than 2,800 export items from July 1, 2007 - in the boldest move yet to rein in exports since it joined the World Trade organization in 2001. The affected items account for 37 percent of all export products.
